Aldo is an Experience Design Lead at BCG Digital Ventures in Manhattan Beach, CA.

With over a decade of experience in product, communications, and service design environments, Aldo has helped organizations large and small craft experiences that transform their relationships with consumers. His foundation in brand communication, creative technology, and design helps him bridge technical and creative teams, creating unique solutions for brands in both the digital and physical landscapes.

He has developed conversational interfaces and experiential activations for Samsung Global, wearables and app systems for Fossil Group, social platform experiences for Walmart, and a multitude of digital & physical experiences for brands such as Google, SoulCycle, Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, Michael Kors, Jordan, and California Lottery during his time at R/GA, AKQA, and Casanova//McCann.


Most recently...

With BCG DV he was an interim head of design for a fintech start-up, he has worked on a culture focused innovation projects in the middle east, and an energy & sustainability innovation projects in Dubai. Just before joining BCG DV he worked with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association – Golden Globes – to implement authentication technology into the Golden Globe trophy and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences – Oscars – on a digital innovation undertaking.

Aldo applies principles of human-centered design thinking, visual communication, behavior based analysis, and human-computer interaction design to his work, resulting in deliverables that resonates with users, aligns with client needs, and push technical feasibility.


Academia...

In academia Aldo studied electronics engineering at Cal. Poly., mass communications & advertising art direction at CSU Fullerton, and holds a Masters of Science in Business with an emphasis in experience design & creative technology from VCU Brandcenter.

He has taught Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has given design lectures at various colleges including USC and CSUF.
